First off, if you're reading this- thank you.
As you may know, I was born and raised in the Philippines- a place that will always be home, no matter how many years I spend away.
Back in 2017, Prim partnered with the Yellow Boat of Hope Foundation to build a boat to take kids living in typhoon affected areas of the Philippines to school every day. And being able to help felt great. Really, really great.
And so that got me thinking- if we can help some of the time, why not all of the time?
Today I am incredibly proud (and excited!) to announce that Prim Botanicals is officially a company that gives back to various organizations in the Philippines, all year round.
If you've made a purchase on our site recently, you may have noticed a drop down box at checkout that gives you the option to make an extra donation to the charity we are currently supporting. I say "extra donation" because a portion of your purchase automatically goes towards people in need, every single time you shop.
Our current partnership is with Glory Reborn, a truly inspiring organization based in Cebu, Philippines (where my mom is from!) that works hard to provide comprehensive, compassionate care to mothers and babies most in need, from pregnancy all the way through to caring for their newborns.
I will continue to send updates and keep you all posted on which groups we will be supporting next.
